source site At the start of the year I thought events like this would be the biggest challenges, and in some ways that it would be wrong not to raise a glass of the fizzy stuff to celebrate birthdays, hen dos and weddings. It turned out I didn’t give it a second thought on the day.

Champagne toasts were made constantly, but for those abstaining we didn’t miss out and instead raised glasses full of elderflower fizz or ginger beer. And to top it all off my other half was thrilled* to discover I can still dance all night like an idiot – even when totally sober.
*maybe mildly embarrassed
